Can I enable gzip or deflate optimization?

site optimizer

Using gzip or deflate is easy with our site optimization tool built into cPanel. To add this just log into your cPanel, click optimize website, and turn on. This will for browsers that have the technology and the user has activatred it allow for your site to be compressed for much faster load times.

Whether to transparently compress pages. If this option is set to "On" in php.ini or the Apache configuration, pages are compressed if the browser sends an "Accept-Encoding: gzip" or "deflate" header. This available from zlib.output_compression which we have activated with all servers.
