What is the maximum file upload size for WordPress?

The default file upload size is 200 megabytes for all shared and reseller web hosting servers. In some cases we can increase that limit. Contact us for details.

If you have a VPS or Dedicated server we have seen WordPress upload limits as high as 500 megabytes. After about 300-350 megabytes, the system starts to become unreliable. Meaning, it might fail time to time in the upload process with files over 350 megabytes.
