How to transfer a domain to Web Host Pro

It can be tricky to transfer a domain from one registration provider to the next. That is why Web Host Pro does most of this by hand. When you're ready to transfer a domain you will need to do three things.

1. Make sure the domain is unlocked.
2. Make sure the email on file with the domain is one you can check.
3. Get the transfer code (EPP).

Once you've done this, just buy a domain transfer and add the EPP code. We will start the process right away once paid. We charge the same price to transfer as we do for registration and include an extra year.

The process takes about 1-5 days and an email will be sent to the email on file with the domain to approve the transfer.

We will walk you through the whole process to ensure that it goes smoothly. It keeps on file the current WHOIS details of the domain used before but protects it with basic WHOIS privacy.
