At your fingertips
Yes! We have level one technicians available 24 hours a day, everyday. These techs man the support desk and monitor everything from the network to the servers. If you have an emergency or a technical issue, you should log in and open a ticket with them for the best response. They have the most control over the servers, this allows them to fix more complicated issues quickly.
Our customer service team mans the phones and website chat. If you have a question or just want to talk about your website, feel to contact them anytime. Customer service representatives do not have as much control over the servers as technical support. Therefore, more advanced issues are better resolved via the technical support ticket system in your account manager.

Web Host Pro is not a moral filter for content. We are not equipped to pass judgment on a client's content. Therefore Web Host Pro does allow adult content. Web Host Pro does reserve the right to refuse service to anyone on the grounds of abuse of service or illegal activity. If you have questionable content, feel free to ask our staff about it. Otherwise, data will be considered data. Our job is to get the packets through to you, not scrutinize them. We request the use of meta tags to distinguish adult content from general content, but we do not force meta data in anyway. This helps content filtering services like Netnanny and Microsoft block websites correctly.
Here is the proper meta tag and variables. Replace the term value with the type of content your website uses. Meta tags are placed in the header section of the main page or every page of the website. For example, adult sites would use the meta tag: <meta name="rating" content="mature">

There's a number of reasons that your PHP files may not be working properly. Here's the top ones and how to fix them.
1. Wrong PHP version
The main reason a PHP files does not work, is that you're not on a compatible PHP version. In your cPanel, search for MultiPHP. There, you can change versions to see if any work with your website. The newer the PHP version, the better the security and performance. Some apps require older PHP versions to work, or the app just needs to be updated. Once you change a PHP version, you'll have to wait about 2 minutes for it to start working.
2. Mis-configured .htaccess file
This is a little harder to trouble shoot. You'll need to remove everything from all .htaccess files in folders before your content. Normally there's only one .htaccess file you have to change. This is normally located in the main public_html folder. Once everything is removed and your site is working, you can add the code back to the .htaccess file piece by piece to see what part is causing the error. In some cases, you'll have to add some code back for it to work as well.
3. A bad app, theme, or plugin
Sometimes the app you're using just has bad code or is broken. In this case, you'll need to get a new version and upload all the files over the existing ones. Just don't forget to save your database and configuration settings. For bad plugins, simply delete the plugin in your file manager and try to load the site again. For themes, you'll need to use a default theme with the folder it's in renamed to the same name of the theme you're using. Then in your file manager, remove the theme you're using and upload the default theme that's renamed to match it.
A control panel also called cPanel is where you manage most tasks that your website needs. For example; adding email, WordPress, managing PHP, and viewing files can all be done from your control panel. The account manager is where you handle billing, support tickets, buying new products, and our website builder. You can also do the more essential control panel tasks from your account manager, like adding email, managing VPS options, and opening certain cPanel sections directly.
Web hosting is a place where you store the files (information) of your web site so that it may be accessed by anyone with an Internet connection. This is often a computer with storage space and a permanent connection to the Internet. Your website will not work on a computer unless it's permanently connected to the Internet for all to see. I like to describe web hosting as a piece of property where you can build your place on the Internet for people to visit or stay.
Starting a website is pretty easy once you have domain registration (which is your name/web address on the Internet) and web hosting (the home/place where your website's files are stored). When you combine both, your website will be live on the Internet. From there you just need to figure out how to build the website. We have a page here to help explain how to do this and what the most common options are:
